Withington boasts a rich and vibrant history, evident in its collection of historic buildings, each telling a story of the area’s past. 

• However, many of these architectural gems are at risk of being lost due to neglect, modernization, or lack of resources for proper upkeep. Our project is designed to address this issue by focusing on the restoration and preservation of these landmarks, ensuring they remain a crucial part of Withington's unique character and identity.

• The project will involve a thorough review of the area's historic buildings, assessing their current condition and determining which ones should be prioritized for restoration. 

• A key element of this initiative is the involvement of the local community. Residents and stakeholders will have the opportunity to contribute their thoughts and ideas on which buildings are most significant and how these structures could be adapted to serve modern purposes. This approach ensures that the repurposing of these buildings meets the needs of Withington’s evolving community while maintaining their historical value.

Ideas for repurposing could include
