"I generally feel safe during the daytime when there are many people around. However, in the evenings, especially after dark, I feel uneasy due to poor lighting and the lack of security presence. I’ve noticed some areas where the streetlights are dim or not working, which makes it feel less secure."
"I usually feel safe walking on the High Street at any time. I see familiar faces, and there are always people around. The only time I feel slightly uncomfortable is when I walk home late at night, as some stretches of the street are quite deserted."
"I often walk the High Street in the morning and early afternoon, and I feel quite safe then. However, in the evenings, I prefer to drive rather than walk because there have been a few incidents of anti-social behavior that have made me concerned for my safety."
"I feel safe walking along the High Street during the day, but my experience changes at night. I’ve witnessed some unruly behavior from groups of people, which makes me hesitate to walk there after sunset. Better lighting and more visible security would definitely help."
